El Primer Mundo Liga Miami

The Liga Miami is a very impressive cigar.  Understanding that El Primer Mundo is a boutique cigar brand, I set out to find the best price and availability of this particular stick.  I found that Wise Ash (Smyrna, GA), Aficionados of Buckhead (Atlanta, GA) and Tobacco World (Marietta, GA) had it in stock with a price averaging between $10-$12 bucks.  This is right around my "This better be good" price range.

Once I cut the cigar with my Xikar Havana Collection cutter, I decided to spend a few minutes just dry drawing to see what flavors it will reveal.  To my surprise, I recognized a hint of both caramel and cedar.  After this discovery, I could not wait to toast the foot and get my smoke on.

This stick performed very well.  The draw was fairly easy.  The burn was even all the way through.  The ash did retire to the ashtray once I reached the mid point of my enjoyable experience.  Around the same time I notice a slight change in the strength of the stogie.  This cigar truly went from medium to full bodied.  Now we're talking!!!  I must add a nice single malt scotch (with two pieces of ice) to this experience.  Okay, that's my excuse.

Overall, this was a great quality smoke that never disappointed me one bit.  If I have to find something negative, I would advise you to contact your favorite retailer and see if they are in stock.  I was told they go fast.  Now I know why.
